School Link is an exciting new way to find out about children in other countries.
Learn about what life is like for children living in Pakistan or China. Read stories written by children themselves, play interactive games and access multi-media and photo libraries plus a range of other educational resources.
School Link is a complete primary concept developed for 7-11 year olds. Pupils can work at a computer or an interactive whiteboard; finding out about life in another country. Schools can choose to learn about Pakistan or China.
"School Link is an excellent way to bring alive the pleasure of working with children across the world and to have fun while learning. The whole package is so informative and interesting, it cannot fail to motivate teachers to use it. I love the idea of 'Friendship Friday' and hope that this is a real success in 2007. Congratulations on developing this ideal teaching resource!"

Lesson plans, worksheets and well researched background information about the society and the specific school the pupils are learning about are all part of the resource pages for teachers.
School link also gives children an opportunity to make a difference and take part in a fun and creative activity that will help to raise money to support the work of Save the Children.
School Link can count towards the DfES
International School Award as a curriculum-based activity that encourages a global dimension to learning.
